Product Manager
About kaiko
Delivering high-quality healthcare requires clinicians to reason across fragmented and complex data — clinical notes, imaging, diagnostics, treatment history, guidelines, and years of patient context. This cognitive load, combined with increasing administrative burden, makes delivering the best possible care harder than it should be.
kaiko.w is a patient-aware clinical AI assistant that supports healthcare teams throughout patient care — from consult preparation and documentation to complex decision-making. It connects and reasons across longitudinal patient data, helping clinicians access the full picture while staying fully in control of medical decisions.
We’re building this in close collaboration with the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) and a growing network of hospitals and research centers. We’ve raised significant long-term funding and have nearly doubled our team over the past year. We’re now 120+ people representing 25 nationalities, based across our offices in Zurich and Amsterdam
About the role
Building a clinical AI product means operating in an environment full of ambiguity: evolving clinical needs, complex workflows, strict safety requirements, and fast-moving AI capabilities.
As a Product Manager at Kaiko, you will help turn this complexity into a product that delivers real value to healthcare professionals. You’ll work closely with engineering, AI research, clinical experts, and commercial teams to define problems worth solving and translate them into clear, actionable product direction.
This role offers high ownership, customer exposure (including hospitals), and a strong learning curve. You’ll contribute directly to shaping a state-of-the-art clinical AI product while growing rapidly in your product management career.
You will be based in The Netherlands (Amsterdam) or Switzerland (Zurich), with the expectation of spending at least 50% of your time at the office.

Our interview process
Our interview process is designed to assess mutual fit across product skills, motivation, and values. We focus on product thinking and collaboration, not domain knowledge depth.
It typically includes the following steps:
Screening call: A short conversation to align on your motivation, experience, and expectations for the role.
Product interview: A product-focused discussion based on a real or realistic kaiko-style problem. We’ll explore how you approach discovery, prioritization, trade-offs, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making in ambiguous environments
Cross-functional interview: Conversations with engineers, designers, or clinical team members to understand how you collaborate and communicate across disciplines.
