A career at kaiko.ai

Our commitment to curiosity, continuous learning and growth fuels our journey as we strive to uncover what's hidden.

Our Approach

Our People

  • Kaiko brings together a lot of things that I'm really passionate about. I can combine my academic background in machine learning in healthcare (PhD in Computational Cancer Biology) with my industry experience building data & AI products. I can work with a highly skilled, enthusiastic and fun team. And we are right at the intersection of cutting-edge machine learning, robust & scalable software engineering, and how that can solve problems in healthcare.

    Nanne Aben

    Senior Machine Learning Engineer

  • At kaiko.ai, my day-to-day work is filled with purpose and intellectual stimulation. We're at the forefront of developing an oncology foundation model aimed at solving one of the most daunting challenges in healthcare: cancer. Engaging with state-of-the-art models to potentially save lives and improve healthcare quality is what excites me the most about my work. I also admire the degree of independence and freedom of exploration I get. Our organizational structure is flat not only on paper but in reality. And my colleagues are outstanding individuals! From participating in hackathons together to going on a weekend skiing trip, I always feel included and heard.

    Rita Kurban

  • I always wanted to work in healthcare but I wasn't sure how my technical skills and expertise would be useful in this field. Through kaiko.ai, I found a lot of support and trust that empowered me to journey through unfamiliar territories, striking a balance and leveraging my skills to create meaningful products. Collaborating with highly intelligent individuals driven by a common goal of innovation is incredibly motivating and encourages me to consistently push beyond boundaries.

  • For me, one of the best aspects of working at kaiko.ai is the people. Collaborating with passionate colleagues to make an impact in oncology with cutting-edge technology is truly motivating. We learn directly from medical specialists about their needs and this is an exciting opportunity for a designer. Plus, the flexibility in working hours and remote options helps to maintain a healthy work-life balance
