Head of Marketing
About kaiko
Delivering high quality cancer care is complex; specialists form a view of each patient's condition by reasoning across different data - CT scans, genomics context, treatment history and clinical notes.
Current AI are powerful within domains but fall short when it comes to reasoning across data or domain areas. kaiko.w, our AI assistant for oncology, aims to equip every clinician with a full understanding of their patients, helping them to reason across data as they assess each case.
We’re building this in close collaboration with the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) and a growing network of hospitals and research centers. We’ve raised significant long-term funding and have nearly doubled our team over the past year. We’re now 100+ people representing 25 nationalities, based across our offices in Zurich and Amsterdam.
About the role
Kaiko is entering its next phase of growth - one that demands clinical credibility, clear positioning, and visible market presence. We're building a category-defining AI product for clinicians, and we need a head of Marketing who can translate strategy into concrete assets, build awareness, and run a tight, effective marketing org.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll own the end-to-end marketing foundation: clinical messaging and positioning (turning it into usable assets), awareness-building through campaigns and content, and organizing the team, so that marketing execution becomes reliable and scalable. You’ll work closely with our founders, product, sales/commercial, research, and clinical partners.
This role is based in the Netherlands or Switzerland, with the expectation of spending at least 50% of your time in the office.

Own and evolve kaiko’s clinical positioning and narrative across key audiences.

2. Create awareness:

Own a high-quality content engine.
Support fundraising with clear narratives and external assets that increase credibility and visibility.
3. Team organization:
Organize and lead the marketing team: scopes, priorities, quality bar, feedback, and development.
Create cross-functional operating rhythms.
Identify capability gaps and upskill/hire in alignment with company goals.
You bring
Senior B2B marketing leadership with experience in building and scaling teams.
Strong product marketing & positioning background - especially for complex, technical, or regulated products.
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills & ability to align founders, sales, product, research, and clinical stakeholders without slowing down.
High ownership, fast execution, and strong judgment in credibility-sensitive markets like healthcare.
Nice to have
Marketing experience in European healthcare or medtech.
Familiarity with compliance-sensitive communications.
German and/or Dutch language skills.
